This blog first started several years ago on a different blogging site. It began as a chronicle of my journey to train for my first marathon. The London Marathon 2012. My efforts to become fitter and healthier and my attempts to get to grips with the deceptively difficult skill of running quite a long way were noted. I continued after the marathon to outline my intentions to do better next time.
So far I have had a brief success thanks to intensive PT sessions followed by a long slow rebound to unhealthiness. Somewhere along the way I lost all motivation to get fit and healthy and distracted myself with other things – most work, studying and chocolate 😊
After a nice long break and a good dress size increase later I am remotivated to get back to my peak of health if not beyond. So this is the new blog for the new plan. Here’s hoping I can stick to keeping up at least one of them…
